Ardouval is uniquely situated in the peace and quiet of the Pays de Bray, but only 6 miles from the A28 motorway, which now links to the new A16 all the way to Calais. A leisurely one and a half-hours’ drive, on a motorway described by the Mail on Sunday as the quietest in Europe. A toll of only 6.90 Euros is payable. Alternatively, if you prefer a longer sea crossing, and a short drive, take the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe. After a twenty-five minute drive from Dieppe on a main road (not motorway), you will arrive at Ardouval. For those who like to “cruise” across the Channel, take the Portsmouth/Le Havre route. Le Havre is only 60 miles distant on the new A29 motorway. If you are travelling from Scotland or the North you may prefer the North Sea routes to Zeebrugge.  Zeeebrugge to Ardouval is less than four hours on good motorways.
